The Huia was a New Zealand treasure that we lost due to our over loving, we showed it off to all that visited by ship, and we failed to protect what we considered valuable.
Fortunately the beauty of the Huia tail feathers still runs deep within, and the reminder is forever there to ensure that we not only love our New Zealand fauna & flora.…..but we respect it too.
